Filming at Cilwendeg Mansion, Wales

A big old mansion house launches as Pembrokeshire’s newest wedding venue.

We were so excited to pop along to see this beautiful place last weekend. One of our photographers delivered the Sunday newspapers here as a teenager. She raved about the grounds, the architecture and the beauty of Cilwendeg so we couldn’t wait to take a look.

Dressed for it’s very first open house event, brides and grooms wandered the house with their lists of FAQs. Light flooded most of the rooms and it was the perfect day to shoot. The on-going renovation project includes accommodation, which is planned for next summer.

Downstairs consists of several reception rooms, perfect for any size of party. And, with a licensed wedding room and space for a marquee too, there are endless options at Cilwendeg Mansion.

Opportunities for wedding photos and films are plentiful too, regardless of the weather. The house sits at the foothills of the Preseli Mountains. A long drive, leads you past ‘The Shell House’ and the house is impressive from every angle. Renovation works are of the highest quality, the styling is true to the the origin of the building and the grounds are vast. Windows are long, ceilings are tall and we await with baited breath, our first opportunity to capture photos and films for bride, grooms and families at this breath-taking venue.
