Rugby Legends Dinner 2018
Exposure Photo Agency Ltd was delighted to be involved with The Hospitality Action Rugby Legends Charity Dinner at the beautiful Deer Park Hotel near Honiton, Devon. The charity raises money to help people in the hospitality industry who may have fallen on hard times.
We had the pleasure of photographing some of the regions finest Chefs, Paul Ainsworth of No6, Padstow, Nathan Outlaw of Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, Port Isaac, Josh Eggleton of The Pony & Trap, Dominic Chapman of The Beehive, Jude Kereama of Kota, Porthleven, Guy Owen of The Idle Rocks, St Mawes and Michael Wignall.
Rugby legends Phil Vickery, David Flatman, Jeremy Guscott and Matt Powell were among a host of former and current players who entertained the generous audience raising over £40,000 for the charity.
The brief was extensive as we were tasked with capturing the Chefs at work, the legends with the Chefs, room shots, details, finished dishes. The images needed to highlight the atmosphere and fun nature of the evening while including aspects of all the sponsors.

The lighting varied throughout the several rooms the activities were spread over so a mixture of available light and flash photography was required. It was technically challenging in that the artificial light had to be corrected in post production which is typical of large event photography. We have a talented pool of Photographers who can cope with events such as this and always deliver to the clients brief. Low-resolution pictures were sent to the client as the evening unfolded so they could keep their followers updated on social media. The full set of images were delivered the next day.
